ABOUT FOX & BOND

Founded in early 2015, Blair Fox and Sunny Bond came together with the vision of melding antiquity and modernity in an online boutique of fine antique jewelry that caters to the modern woman. Akin to how fashion designers unveil cohesive seasonal stories, the jewelry is presented by way of collections built around common themes influenced by current culture and fashion.  With F & B Conversions, antique pieces are reworked and transformed, giving them a fresh take for the modern woman.  Fox & Bond has also created a new line of vintage-inspired pieces called F & B Originals, giving classic designs a contemporary twist. Always on the move hunting for the unique, new arrivals are added to the collections regularly, as well as fresh collections seasonally.  As styles evolve, so do the collections.  In a mass-produced world of fast fashion, where copycat designs quickly feel dated and stale, Fox & Bond offers a refreshing selection of jewels that transcend trends and are uniquely you.

FROM THE FOUNDERS

We created Fox & Bond because we live and breathe antique jewelry and believe in its power.  Worn on the body, it acts as your personal armor, giving you a secret strength to take on the world.  We believe jewelry should bring joy and make you feel beautiful.  Our goal is to show that antique is modern and mixing old and new is the ultimate master-class in accessorizing.  A chic LBD with a pair of Victorian fringe earrings and a Retro gold cuff epitomize modern fashion.  The designs, the styles, and the materials of antique jewelry are timeless and the predecessor for everything made today. We find that once someone is exposed to it, their interest and appreciation forever grows.  Antique jewelry is a tangible form of history carried with you everyday, real treasures that have stood the test of time.  Now you have the opportunity to cherish them and make them part of your story.

With Fox & Bond, we aim to provide our clients with the ease of online shopping, combined with bespoke customer service.  We want to break down the intimidating factor that purchasing jewelry can have. No question is too big or too small. You are sure to find the perfect piece that speaks to you whether it’s for yourself or a loved one. With backgrounds in Gemology and years of experience in the jewelry industry, consider us your gift whisperers.

Xx,

Blair + Sunny

MEET FOX AND BOND

BLAIR FOX

BLAIR FOX

Having always been a lover of antiques, Blair was bitten by the jewelry bug while shopping with her now husband for a vintage engagement ring. That experience fueled a spark in Blair to learn more about diamonds and jewelry history and ultimately led to her decision to change career paths for one in the jewelry industry. In 2012, Blair began classes at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and has since received her diploma from GIA as an Accredited Jewelry Professional and a Diamonds Graduate, while also earning a certificate from NYU in Appraisal Studies in Fine and Decorative Arts. Furthermore, she gained invaluable knowledge with hands on experience while working in Los Angeles for both a new fine jewelry designer and a renowned antique jewelry dealer. Both Sunny and Blair are members of the American Society of Jewelry Historians.

SUNNY BOND

SUNNY BOND

Sunny comes from a long line of jewelry loving women and has been surrounded with antique jewelry all her life. Her favorite activity as a little girl was going through boxes of costume jewelry at her Grandmother's house, piling on rings and bracelets, taking other pieces apart and reworking them. Not much has changed. With degrees in Art History from FSU, Appraisal of Art and Antiques from NYU, and her Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America, she is more than ready to answer your jewelry questions. She has been working professionally with antique jewelry since 2007, starting at an appraisal firm in NYC, then moving to Heritage Auction's Jewelry Department in their New York location. She started her own Jewelry Concierge service in 2012, and when not at Fox & Bond, she works with LoveGold as a U.S. Editor.
