A locket that's striking and sentimental.
Made around the turn of the century, circa late 1890s to early 1900s, it's style is perfectly in step with the times. Done in rich 18 karat yellow gold, its front has a white Greek key design going around the edge. As you move inwards, you see green guilloché enamel engraved or tooled in fine geometric motifs, creating a reflective sheen, with 32 rose cut diamonds set within a geometric pattern. At center is a millegrain filled bezel set Old Mine Cut Diamond weighing approximately 0.15 carats. The reverse of the locket as one of the most interesting monograms we've ever seen, with an "R" at its center.
This incredible piece hangs on a 16 inch 14 karat yellow gold link chain, hitting at the perfect spot.
