A beautiful Edwardian diamond and ruby ring that makes a killer engagement ring as well as a stunning right-hand ring! This antique 18 karat yellow gold topped platinum ring, a technique popular in the Edwardian era that was believed to bring out the whiteness in diamonds, is from circa 1905. The center Old European Cut sparkly and bright diamond is approximately 0.25 carats, H-I-J in color and VS2 in clarity, and bezel set with millegraining, tiny beaded details that finish the edge of a piece of jewelry, that can be seen throughout the ring. Framing the center diamond, the six calibre cut rubies provide the perfect pop of color, while the additional twenty-six rose cut diamonds bordering the rubies provide a subtle shimmer around the entire ring! A truly special ring that is both classic and unique; one that you'll never get sick of wearing!
