One of the most unusual Gypsy rings we've ever seen!
An English 5 stone Gypsy ring with striking color set in 15 karat yellow gold with rich patina. Victorian, noted by its strong hallmarks stating it to be done in 1880 from Chester, England. It features 3 Old Mine Cut Diamonds, the center approximately 0.10 carats with the next 2 diamonds each approximately 0.05 carats for a total diamond weight of approximately 0.20 carats. The 3 diamonds are flanked by 2 old cushion cut rubies, each approximately 2 mm each, anchoring the sides, all set flush with 2 bead like prongs and engraved style star settings. What makes this piece so special is the engraved settings themselves giving a Harlequin pattern appearance which is quite rare.
