We immediately fell in love with the airy, abstract design of the ring covered in chunky old cut diamonds! This lovely antique Edwardian diamond ring dates way back to circa 1905. Made in platinum topped 18K yellow gold and; a common practice of the early Edwardian period. This short-lived technique was in vogue during this period and believed to make the diamonds to appear whiter in their setting. In a bezel setting with millegrained detail, the largest Old European Cut diamond, approximately 0.25 carats, shines brightly at the top of the ring. Two smaller Old European Cut diamonds, about 0.05 carats each, are similarly set below with twelve rose cut diamonds further accenting the design to give a subtle glimmer and shimmer throughout the ring. With a low profile, this ring is very comfortable and easy to wear all day long. Makes for a perfect engagement ring or right-hand ring!
