the story

A Victorian moonrise pendant from the Victorian era done in rich 15 karat yellow gold.  Sourced on the streets of London, we found this piece as a brooch, circa 1890s - 1900, and quickly converted it into a luscious pendant necklace.

The 9 round cabochon cut opals, ranging in size from 5mm to 3mm, have fabulous play-of-color.  Set throughout are 18 small but chunky Old Mine cut diamonds approximately 0.02 carats each for a total of approximately 0.36 carats in diamond weight.  The open back allows tons of light to pass through making the piece shine extra bright.

It's suspended on a 16 inch 14 karat yellow gold link chain, the perfect length for wearing as a stand-alone statement piece or layered sky high with other favorite necklaces.
