Snake jewelry is a Fox & Bond favorite, and it was love at first sight when we happened upon this vintage ring. This Victorian-style ring, done in warm 18 karat yellow gold, features a coiled snake design around the entirety of the piece. Snake jewelry has a long and rich history dating back to Greek and Roman eras where snakes symbolized wisdom. The Victorians often used snakes to symbolism everlasting love with a coiled snake in particular symbolizing eternity and was often seen in bridal jewelry.Set in the head of the snake is a 0.30 carat chunky, Old Mine Cut diamond, from circa 1880s-1900, adding the perfect amount of sparkle.
