the story

We love a charm with movement and this vintage abacus has it in spades.  The frame is done in 14 karat rose gold while the movable abacus beads are 14k yellow gold, making this cute charm a bi-color beauty!

Abaci are so old, historians don't know exactly when or where they were first invented.  This one, from circa the 1950s, is a miniature and wearable version of an ancient technology, how amazing is that?!

It hangs on a 16-inch F&B 14K rose gold chain and sits flat against the chest.  We love it as a stand-alone piece, stacked with other necklaces, or worn with other charms on one chain.

If you would like to purchase the charm alone without the chain, use the "Inquire About This Item" button below and we'll make it happen for you!

Sorry that this beauty got away but don't lose hope just yet!  Although each antique piece is unique, we are always on the hunt and might come across something similar.
