This 14 karat white gold ring from circa 1950s-1960s features a pear shaped emerald at center measuring approximately 7.75 carats. The emerald is a beautiful shade of bright green with just the slightest hint of blue. The color is saturated and even throughout the stone making it feel like a piece of candy. It's surrounded by 18 vintage full cut diamonds with tons of sparkle, which total approximately 0.72 carats in diamond weight.
All of the stones are set in 4-prong settings giving the ring an open, airy quality. The diamonds are set in white gold while the emerald is set in yellow, a common practice in vintage jewelry thought to bring the best companion metal to the stones color.
A truly spectacular ring, vintage emerald pieces like this are getting harder and harder to find. Measuring 0.8 inches tall x 0.75 inches wide at center, it looks and feels amazing when worn, it's sure to be your families new favorite heirloom.
